Candy Cart deposits and payments

Sugar Mama customers are required to pay 50% of their order value at the time of order confirmation or at our discretion, depending upon customer delivery date. When you place your order, you will receive an invoice at which the 50% order value is due to complete your order - please note your order is not complete until we receive your 50% payment. Payments can be made by PayPal or bank transfer, details will be included in the invoice you will receive. The remaining balance will be due and needs to be paid in full, no later than 14 days before your event or agreed delivery date.

Candy Carts: Sugar Mama will ask for a £50 refundable safety deposit  on top of the 50% order value with the completion of all Candy Cart bookings, in order to secure your hire. This is to ensure the safe return of the cart and all cart accessories - the safety deposit will be returned via the customers preferred payment method - cash payments can be made upon collection of the cart.  

   

Please note:- Sugar Mama will not dispatch any orders that have not been paid in full. If you have any issues making the payment, please contact us immediately, so we can make alternative arrangements if necessary - additional charges may occur.

Cart damage or breakages 

​

Sugar Mama will charge for any theft, breakages and repairable or unrepairable damages to your hire candy cart or cart accessories. All repairable damage to the cart will have to be paid by the customer, this will be deducted from your safety deposit and if the cost of damage is more than the deposit amount, the customer will be invoiced for the difference. By booking our Candy Carts and signing the booking form, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions of their purchase and agrees to take full responsibility for the cart and cart accessories for the duration of their booking - this includes overnight storage. You also agree to pay for all damages or breakages charges that may incur during your hire.

Cancellations or change of date  

​

Sugar Mama customers reserve the right to cancel their order at any time. Orders can be cancelled up to 14 days before your event / agreed delivery date and an 80% refund will be returned. Any orders cancelled with less than 14 days notice will incur a 50% fee. Any products despatched before the time of cancellation will not be subject to a refund, as all of our products are perishable and cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons. 

 

Please note all of our products are perishable, hence the small refund fee attached.

Candy or Glassware substitutions 

​

On very rare occasions, Sugar Mama may have to substitute chosen sweets or glassware for an agreed alternative. However, we will notify you of these changes and will always try to substitute to the customer's wishes. We always endeavour to give you exactly what you have asked for  and will always try to source products elsewhere before offering a substitute.

Health and Safety

​

Sugar Mama recommends that all children be supervised with our candy carts. An attendant can be hired, upon request, to supervise the use of the candy cart, if required. 

​

Under no circumstances should our candy carts be moved by anyone other than a Sugar Mama staff member, as moving the cart could result in it being broken or damaged. 

​

Please note:- we source our confectionary from various suppliers; therefore unfortunately we are not always able to confirm whether the products have been produced in a nut free environment. Please notify us of all dietary requirements.

Sugar Mama has full public liability insurance and a copy of our insurance certificate can be provided, upon request. We will always ensure that your candy cart is set up correctly and securely before leaving your premises, therefore we will take no responsibility for any health and safety issues that may occur.

Privacy

​

Sugar Mama will require certain personal information in order to complete your booking and fulfil your order such as name, address and contact number. All information will be stored safely and securely and will only be used for the purpose of completing your booking. We will never pass your information onto third parties, but we may contact you from time to time to inform you of new Sugar Mama products and promotions - Mama promises to keep emails to a minimum. 

 

Sugar Mama may wish to take photos of your Candy Cart, once it has been setup. We will always ask for your permission and we will only use such photos for promotional purposes and to promote the Sugar Mama brand and our work.
